The MD-V is a fully automatic vertical strapping machine designed to offer exceptional levels of machine availability. It also offers a wide choice of machine options – enabling it to be customised to the exact requirement of your packaging operation.

Based on a robust, welded box section construction, the strapping head is mounted securely within the machine. Packs are transported into position along a guide rail by the customer conveyor system.

The MD-V has the flexibility to use either polypropylene or Tenax® polyester strap in 9, 11, 12, 13 or 16 mm widths – giving it the capability it to pack everything from cartons, boxes and containers to timber and metal products. The strapping head is also available in two versions to suit different strap materials and widths.

MD-V FEATURES
High strap tension
The electronically controlled high tension winder ensures a consistently high strap tension with less than +/- 3% variation.
Strap tension can be infinitely adjusted from 100 up to 2.000 Newtons.
The MDs innovative SwingWeld ® Technology also ensures that high joint strengths can be achieved to exploit these high strap tension levels.
Easy to service
The MND head features an easily exchangeable sealing module which can be removed and replaced by a spare optional module for maximum machine uptime. By simply removing four bolts the sealer unit slides out for easy off-line servicing.
