Z-20 Strapping Head
Signode's latest range of lumber presses is designed to run on high performance Tenax polyester strapping applied using the new modular Z-20 strapping head.

The revolutionary Z-20 technology, a first in the Industry, for heavy duty systems, consists of a separate sealing module and separate tensioning module. This makes the units easy to handle and remove from the system. The heavy-duty sealing module weighs only 18kg and can be removed from the press for routine maintenance by hand, unlike other systems where the strapping head weighs up to 100 kg needing a crane for removal. A module, as they are all electrically powered can be removed and replaced in less than two minutes thus not interrupting production output.
