Signode's Z-20-LD-LP press is designed to run on both Tenax polyester strap and on Apex steel strapping.
The head is top-mounted on the upper compression bar and is free-floating for optimum strap tension transmission around the package.
The unit can compress and strap loads with a min. height of only 250mm. The AK 100 electrically powered strapping heads use (Version shown with optional top and bottom edge protection applicators)13-19 mm wide steel strapping. The Z-20 and AK200 model is equipped to use 16-19mm Tenax high-performance Polyester strapping. Compression if required in the planed lumber, for settling the packs only can be adjusted and varied from zero up to a maximum of 4 tons compression onto the load. Minimum conveyor height is 470mm. |
